sentry — competition robot

Triton Robotics — Mechanical Systems Engineer (2021-22)

overview

Sentry is an autonomous rail-mounted, turreted robot built by Triton Robotics, an undergraduate student team at UC San Diego, to compete in the RoboMaster competition.

Responsible for the redesign of Sentry chassis to increase performance (dynamic stability, acceleration).

Prototyped design, sourced components, performed tolerance verification, design reviews, and iterated design. Manufactured and assembled final components. Significantly reduced design complexity and reduced weight by 22% compared to previous year's design.
